Animal Blessing

The Community of Mary, Mother of the Redeemer had a great time at Trinity Church’s Blessing of the Animals near the beginning of October.For some reason we only had dogs (and one picture of a cat who was too anxious to come in person!). But all—canine, feline-by-proxy, and human—were, through the intercession of Saint Francis, blessed and sprinkled with holy water before settling in to enjoy each others’ company for the afternoon.
