By Becoming an Associate or Oblate
Associates are people who don’t live near the Abbey, but who feel a special connection to the Community of Mary, Mother of the Redeemer and want to share a form of our community life where they are. If you are interested, check out our Associates Rule (clicking the link on a computer may download the file rather than open it depending on your browser’s settings).
Oblates share a similar connection to CMMR, but live near enough to the Abbey to share more of our life in person.
By Discerning a Call to Join our Community
If you are tweny-one and not older than fifty-five, a member (or willing to be) of the Episcopal Church or a Church in full communion with it, and feel called to share our life, we will be happy to discern that call with you. Please first study this website, check us out on Facebook, take a retreat with us when that’s possible, and read our Rule (clicking the link on a computer may download the file rather than open it depending on your browser’s settings).
