CMMR Press

Since the beginning, CMMR has been publishing. We have published

• four full issues of Superflumina: A journal of theological commentary and crankyness from the Community of Mary, Mother of the Redeemer (and a free mini-issue),

• various editions of our Rule,

• a draft of New Creation: Catechesis and Baptismal Renewal—a simple presentation of the Christian faith for those preparing for Holy Baptism or seeking to renew their baptismal identity via Confirmation, Reception into the Episcopal Church, or another form of Baptismal Renewal (we hope to publish a final version of this and make it available to the public in the near future),

• an Advent devotional, and

• several issues of Annunciation (the newsletter of the Abbey of Mary, Mother of the Redeemer).

Superflumina has been on hiatus, but it’s about to return with a new look and a new feel, but the same combination of theological integrity and spiritual crankyness it always had. We also look forward to finally publishing Texts on Empire (something I’ve been threatening the world with for a while!), the CMMR Breviary, along with various books and booklets for use in praying the Daily Office along with CMMR (including developing CMMR houses or other forms of Community), with a group of CMMR Associates or Oblates, or on your own, and ultimately we hope to publish a revised edition of the Rule of the Community of Mary, Mother of the Redeemer.

We have many other projects we’re dreaming up at CMMR Press—all oriented toward our calling to share in the ministry of formation for the Episcopal Church, and the deeper goal of Church renewal.
